Now Accepting Apples!

  • Apples must be harvested from your own land in NY state, or from other land in NY state with full landowner permission.

  • Apples must be ripe. A ripe apple will fall on its own or can be easily picked. Skin will be vibrant, and the flesh inside should be white or cream-colored (not green) with brown seeds

  • Wild, homestead apples and crabapples are preferred over cultivated “eating” varieties.

  • Apples which fall to the ground are still acceptable (we wash them!), as long as the surrounding grass has not been treated with any chemicals. Apples which have been lying on the ground for an unknown amount of time should not be collected. (Our method: clear the area, shake the tree, pick up the drops!)

  • Apples must be dropped off at Uncommon Kin Cidery, 677 County Highway 49 New Berlin, NY 13411 during open tasting room hours: Saturdays & Sundays, 2-8pm.

  • Minimum drop-off: one full 5-gallon bucket.

  • Maximum drop-off: none! bring as many apples as you like.

  • If you do not own enough 5 gallon buckets, one can be provided for you to measure your apples upon drop-off.

  • Credits can be redeemed in the form of cider, merch or gift card

  • Apples can be accepted only for a limited time. Check our website for updates!
